Where to start. The last twelve months have been some of the best in my life and looking back it’s hard to find the right words to explain how good they were. I can’t say I have ever felt so grateful in my life to have been able to experience so many things and to have had the privilege of meeting so many good people all the while calling it my job. I’ve dreamed of these days. To all of my clients whom I have had the privilege of working with, I can’t say thank you enough. I appreciate you more than words can say and I am constantly blown away that you have allowed me to do what I love.

In 2014 my wife Emily and I traveled more than we ever have as we embarked on what we called our “World Tour” shooting weddings and engagements across the United States from Hawaii to North Carolina, Florida to Colorado and a lot of places in between as well as internationally in Africa and across Europe in Spain, England, France and the Netherlands. We also added in a six week detour adventure through South East Asia visiting Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia. If you want to see some of the images I shot while traveling, here is the recap of the World Tour.

On top of shooting, I launched the education side of my business this year offering Mentor Sessions and Online Classes to fellow creatives around the world as well as Photographer’s Blogs on a regular basis to help others grow in their businesses. Along with these, I started hosting local meet-ups for photographers around the world as I traveled and had the honor of meeting people that I now call friends. Being able to teach while witnessing strangers from different countries connect and encourage each other has been unreal and it has only revealed more to me how much I love getting to share with people in this industry. We are a community, not competition.

At the end of all of this, Emily and I decided to end the year with moving across the country from Florida to Oregon and are now residence in the Pacific Northwest. 2015 is going to be huge with an entirely new joinery ahead of us. This year I’ll be traveling a lot for weddings and engagements on both the East and West Coast of the United States as well as overseas. I’ll be hosting more meet-ups in new cities and will be announcing something very soon for photographers to have another opportunity to learn. I’m excited for what’s to come. The best days are ahead. Below are some of my favorite frames from this past year. Thank you again to all of you who have helped making 2014 a truly unforgettable year.
